When I saw the recipe for these, I knew I had to try them out. They are so good! The best part is- you don’t cook anything!
I took a recipe for Granola Energy Balls (found on pinterest at http://pinterest.com/pin/99149629268560640/) and tweaked a few ingredients and measurements, including omitting coconut flakes and adding protein powder.
2-1/2 scoops chocolate protein powder
2 cups oats
1 cup oat bran (can also use ground flaxseed or wheat germ)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
2 tsp vanilla
shake of cinnamon
Mix all ingredients together.
Roll into bite-size balls. (If the mixture is too crumbly to stick together, try adding a little more honey or peanut butter)
Store in the refrigerator.
